School Donations

Each year the Board of Trustees writes to parents outlining the need for Paparangi School to ask our parents for a donation. Despite our growing school roll and the increased funding that this growth provides, there is still a shortfall between the funding provided by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the budget required for running our school. We are awaiting notification from the MOE about new proposed funding arrangements for school donations in line with the government’s election promise about school fees and donations but in the meantime here is information about donation requests for 2018.

You can read more about why the school donation is vital to the operation of Paparangi School and how you can claim your tax rebate here

Paparangi School is governed by a democratically elected group of people called the Board of Trustees. These trustees make important decisions about our school’s strategic direction, student progress, management, school culture and more. The Paparangi School Board of Trustees meets twice a term. The next Board meeting will be held on 26 March 2018 at 6pm.
